COMMENTS: RP11-0011 was sold at our 2012 on property ram sale for $22,000 which was the highest priced ram sold in NSW at an on farm auction in 2012. He is an embryo transfer son of RP09-0014 who has  become one of the most used rams in the industry over the past two years and is out of a ewe that has a dam that bred RP04-2536 (the Supreme exhibit at Dubbo National Ram Sales in 2006). RP11-0011 is also the full flush brother to RP11-0015 who was the Midstate Hogget ram and Champion Medium wool March shorn Ram at Dubbo National 2012. RP11-0015 was later sold to Winyar Merino Stud for $15,000. RP11-0011 had the heaviest fleece weight out of the 2011 drop of 950 ram lambs and therefore is an industry trait leader for fleece weight with an ASBV of +25.4.
His wool is very rich and stylish with a bold, defined crimp and a productive skin. Structurally, RP11-0011 is very correct with a wide chest and hindquarter and terrific cannon bone. He has a deep, broad, soft muzzle with a good wide horn setting. Joining Tip- RP11-0011 is a unique ram that can be joined to plain bodied, dry wool ewes to boost fleece weight and wool nourishment.
