COMMENTS: This super Merino sire breaks all the rules of sheep breeding.  He is a heavy weighing ram, with a high fleece weight and low micron and is the most complete sire package that we have ever bred.

RP09-0014's wool is a bold crimping 64's type that is silky soft, well marked and beautifully nourished on an uncomplicated, yet productive skin.  He is a structurally sound ram, with great mobility and tremendous growth (weighing 100kg at 12mths and 151.5kg at 24 months).  RP09-0014 has great curve-bending potential as he is an industry trait leader for fleece weight, 7%DP, 7%, 10%SS and 14%SS indexes.  He was entered into the New England Sire Evaluation 2010 and the Bluechip Sire Evaluation, Temora.(see more below)

Show results include - Bendigo 2010 Champion Medium wool ram, Junior Champion ram and champion March shorn ram overall. Midstate Field Days Hogget ram 2010. Sydney Royal 2011 Chapion August shorn Medium ram and was part of the winning NSW State Pair and breeders Group.

RP09-0014 has been one the most widely used semen sires in Australia, New Zealand, Argentina and Uruguay with just under 5,000 doses of semen sold in the past 2 years.  Sons have weighed up to 135kg at 16 months old and have sold up to $22,500.  RP09-0014 performed exceptionally well in the Blue Chip Sire Evaluation Program, Temora.
